The Rose-Tinted Glasses
The Rose-Tinted Glasses, 2021, is an interactive textile collection that explores the concept of rosy retrospection. Drawing inspiration from Mika Ninagawa’s film 'Sakuran' and the unconventional symbolism of goldfish, I aim to debias rosy retrospection by bringing consciousness back to life and encouraging people to seize the day. This project also seeks to explore the relationship between humans and textiles, understanding how touch and our perceptual thoughts evoke affective responses.
