RE [DE] TACH

RE [DE] TACH, 2022, is a speculative experiment that complements 'Splice'. It features an interlocking system inspired by the gecko's tail, designed to sense danger. By utilising the meltable nature of bioplastic combined with a heat-releasing mortise and tenon structure, it detaches upon sensing danger, and the melted tenon part can be easily replaced.
