Haven
Haven represents an innovative solution aimed at rectifying the skewed sex ratios found within sea turtle populations, a consequence of rising global temperatures impacting sand temperatures during nesting. The product offers a multifaceted approach: first, as a meticulously designed nesting bed engineered to provide an optimal environment for egg-laying, and second, by strategically deploying imitation eggs alongside genuine sea turtle eggs to regulate nest temperatures. Crafted from a blend of sand, water, and oyster shells, Haven has undergone rigorous scientific validation, demonstrating its efficacy in reducing sand temperatures. This creative art and design intervention not only offers a natural and sustainable solution to the pressing crisis faced by sea turtles but also serves as a powerful tool to raise awareness about the severity of climate issues.
